From the amazing historical sites to the equally brilliant weather, here are just some of the reasons you will love a home in the Peloponnese.

The Peloponnese can be found at the southern tip of mainland Greece. It is connected to the country by the Isthmus of Corinth, a land bridge which separates the Gulf of Corinth and the Saronic Gulf. The Peloponnese used to officially go by the name Morea, and you can still hear some call it that today. Geographically, the Peloponnese is the shape of a plane tree leaf. And it is a little bigger than Wales.

Gorgeous weather

With a home in the Peloponnese, you can expect a lovely Mediterranean climate. In the highly elevated cities such as Tripoli, you can experience colder weather. In Spring, you get to dose up on your vitamin D as there is around thirteen hours of sunshine a day. The temperatures rests in the late to mid-twenties. Meanwhile, the summer lasts from June to September and offers temperatures in the mid to high twenties, even touching 30°C. While the weather does cool in October, it is still agreeable, with highs of 23.5°C. The coldest month of the year is January, though there is the potential to reach 14°C.
